Pickleball - How it started
Pickleball was started in Seattle, USA, in the summer of 1965 by two congressmen Bill Bell and Joel Pritchard and their families. They had a badminton court and an airflow ball but no racquets, so they made some wooden paddles and adapted the game of badminton by lowering the net to tennis height and incorporated some table tennis, tennis and badminton play to create a new game. Over a period of time rules were adapted and Pickleball was established, it is now one of the fastest growing sports in the world.

Playing Pickleball
Pickleball is a fun sport for people of all ages and ability that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.
Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. Two or four players use solid paddles made of composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net.
